Hill Climb

In the early 1900s, drivers took on steep mountain roads, simply to see who could make it to the top the fastest. Unlike board track racing or straight-line speed runs, hill climbs tested traction, throttle control, and resolve as machines battled upward turn by turn.

One of the earliest and most iconic events emerged in 1916 with the first Pikes Peak Hill Climb in Colorado, where competitors raced from the foothills toward thin air and the summit above the clouds. From the beginning, hill climb racing was about ascent - measured in elevation gained, fastest times, and courage.

That spirit lives on today wherever people wake up to face their dreams. Drinking a cup of coffee never hurt anyone’s ambition, so keep climbing higher.
